Following the keen interest expressed by innovative companies in the IMPRESS PCP Call for Tenders, we are delighted to announce the introduction of a new tool designed to provide assistance in navigating the tender documents and preparing the bid optimally.

This excellent opportunity is offered by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), which manages all activities of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and programmes related to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Tailored assistance for participation in the IMPRESS PCP is provided by the SPIN4EIC team, a part of the Business Acceleration Services, aiming to support EIC beneficiaries by offering guidance and enhancing their capacity to leverage innovation procurement.

The SPIN4EIC Assistance Action is a tailored guidance scheme that includes the following main activities:

• Assignment of a contact person from the assistance team, who will be responsible for guiding the beneficiaries along the process.
• Organisation of an online Kick-off meeting during which the beneficiaries and the assistance team will agree on the required guidance activities and define the next steps. The support will encompass guidance activities such as providing best practices on drafting tenders, sharing best practices of organising tendering documents and providing guidance on their format and organisation.
• Provision of tailored assistance services: the exact guidance activities to be provided to each beneficiary will be tailored based on its particular needs.

The IMPRESS PCP and the Matchmaking Tool

The IMPRESS Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) offers an exceptional opportunity for R&D companies to co-develop a revolutionary interoperable platform for TEM and other instruments with the IMPRESS project.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to accelerate target innovation by collaborating closely with world-class scientists and experts from the IMPRESS Consortium. They will also be able to test their prototypes with a diverse range of users across multiple Research Infrastructures. Ultimately, this innovation journey will expand the horizons of TEM, opening up new business prospects for companies and allowing them to enter new sectors and markets and grow internationally.

Companies seeking partnerships to submit their Bid can make use of the Matchmaking Tool available on the IMPRESS website. Offerings and requirements will be showcased on the website’s Matchmaking section, facilitating the exchange of expertise, skills and resources among potential partners.
