IMPRESS is thrilled to unveil the video recordings of the presentations delivered during the Open Market Consultation (OMC) Event, held on September 1st from 9:00 to 12:00 (CEST).
The OMC Event welcomed technology companies, scientists, TEM users, and all stakeholders interested in pioneering advancements within the realm of transmission electron microscopy.
The primary objective of the event was to introduce the Open Market Consultation (OMC), provide a comprehensive understanding of the vision and objectives of the IMPRESS project, and elucidate how interested parties could actively participate in the project’s research and development journey through the Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) tendering process.
This video showcases the insightful presentations given by the six keynote speakers, who also serve as integral members of the IMPRESS Procurement Technical Committee. The OMC Event commenced with Regina Ciancio (Project Coordinator), who offered a thorough overview of the project. Following that, Stephan Corvers and Beatriz Gómez Fariñas (Senior Procurement Experts and Project Partners) provided a comprehensive explanation of the PCP tendering process. Amir Tavabi (Technical Coordinator) contributed additional technical insights regarding the project, and Martina Börger (Project Procurement Expert and Project Partner) gave further details about the PCP procedure guidelines for applying to the call for tenders. To wrap up, Rafal Dunin-Borkowski (Scientific Coordinator) summarized the presentations and highlighted the initial feedback received from users and potential bidders.
The OMC Event proved to be a resounding success and afforded online participants a unique opportunity to interact with the IMPRESS Procurement Technical Committee during the concluding Questions & Answers session. The Q&A list will be made available on this website in the coming days.
