IMPRESS invited to take part in the RTI Summit 2025 — visit us in Copenhagen!

From quantum to circular materials — the RTI Summit 2025 will gather Europe’s brightest minds to shape the future of Research and Technology Infrastructures, with IMPRESS among the invited participants. Meet us at Booth 20!

This October, Copenhagen will become the epicentre of European innovation. The Research and Technology Infrastructure (RTI) Summit 2025, taking place from 22–23 October at the Scandic Copenhagen hotel, will unite policymakers, scientists, and industry leaders to shape a shared vision for the future of European research.

Hosted under the Danish EU Presidency, the summit will introduce the new European strategy for Research and Technology Infrastructures, setting the tone for the years ahead. Participants will explore topics as diverse as quantum technologies, semiconductors, sustainable energy, and circular materials - all fields that rely on advanced, interoperable tools to thrive. Among the many initiatives shaping this vision, IMPRESS brings its own perspective, rethinking transmission electron microscopy as an open, customizable platform. In a landscape where scientific infrastructures must increasingly talk to one another, IMPRESS embodies interoperability, with the aim of enabling future research to evolve more seamlessly across disciplines and technologies.

The RTI Summit offers more than discussions; it’s a meeting point for ideas, partnerships, and the infrastructures that make them possible. With over 40 exhibitors and 300 participants, the event promises lively exchanges between EU policymakers, research infrastructure leaders, universities, and innovators from industry

For IMPRESS, being part of this dialogue means contributing to Europe’s broader effort to make science more connected, adaptive, and open.

If you’re attending the Summit, we warmly invite you to visit IMPRESS at Booth 20. Let’s explore together how the next generation of interoperable TEMs can empower scientists—and drive research infrastructures toward a more integrated and impactful future.
