Corrected Electron Optical Systems

Corrected Electron Optical Systems GmbH based at Heidelberg, Germany, develops and manufactures aberration-corrected electron-optical imaging systems. We are a global technology leader in the field of aberration correctors for TEM, STEM and SEM and engaged in the development of imaging energy-filter, monochromators, software solutions and high-performance electronics. Our main focus is on research projects for our industrial and academic partners, the development of prototype instrumentation and regular production of our established products for various microscope manufacturers.

Our contribution to IMPRESS

Within IMPRESS we work together with IFW Dresden and CEMES Toulouse to explore new electron-optical designs. We provide our expertise in charged-particle optics, numerical simulation techniques, and practical instrument design to find new and better optical solutions.
